Port Terminals

ONTUR

A multipurpose terminal built in 2007 in the Free Zone of Nueva Palmira, intended for general cargo, citrus, pulp, fertilizers, bulk products, and containers.

It has two oceanic docks and three river mooring sites, a gantry crane, and a 30,000 m2 warehouse. Currently, more than one million annual tons of pulp are received, stored, and re-shipped, among other goods.

The Nueva Palmira port complex offers a draft of 33 feet at Zero with excellent natural conditions and is internationally recognized for its exceptional river traffic, connecting the port to the interior of the continent through the Paraguay-Paraná Waterway, making the connection with Bolivia, Brazil (Mato Grosso), Paraguay, Argentina, and Uruguay.

CHR Group participates in this project in partnership with UPM, the Ontemar S.A. Group, and Swedfund International AB.

Montevideo Bulk Terminal (TGM)

It is the most modern bulk terminal in Uruguay, located in the bay of the Port of Montevideo.

Its storage capacity is 120,000 tons in vertical silos, with a private mooring site with a depth of 12 meters, allowing the loading of Panamax and Post Panamax ships.

The grain transports can load 20,000 tons per day and can be conditioned at the same terminal.

Our priority is to have an integrated management in quality, environment, safety, occupational health, and social responsibility.
